pepP sequence +hACE2 RBD

This sequence contains a pepP protease sequence, a GGSGGS linker sequence, and an hACE2 receptor binding domain sequence. It will finally be translated into a construct with pepP and ACE2 connected with a linker.

Usage and Biology

In our project, we wish to use this construct to function in two aspects: capturing and deactivating. With the hACE2 part, we can utilize the characteristic of SARS CoV2 spike protein, which binds to ACE2 to infect human body, to capture SARS CoV2 virus outside of our body. Also, with pepP protease, we expected that it will cut the cleavage sites on spike protein and inactivate it as a result.
